The supernatural life is a life of peace, joy and absolute bliss! As we realised in last month’s theme, nothing perturbs any individual connected, walking and operating in the spirit! This is because the light of God radiates in and through them and it is that light that dispels every form of darkness. In the words of Martin Luther King Jr, “darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that...” Welcome to this glorious month – March 2020: Keep Shining! The Light shines on in the darkness, and the darkness did not understand it or overpower it or appropriate it or absorb it [and is unreceptive to it] (John 1:5 AMP). I pray that the light of God will dispel and swallow up every issue in your life that constitutes darkness in Jesus name. In Genesis 1:3, God Himself made a proclamation... “Let there be light!” and until this moment darkness has not been able to subdue or overcome light. Matthew 5: 14 gives us a very good perceptive describing you and I as the light of the world therefore exempting us from the effect of darkness. This is in spite of the fact that we live amongst the agents of darkness; our assurance as children of God remains that we cannot be overpowered. Beloved even if everything seems dark around you and gross darkness appears to be looming, do not give in... (Isaiah 60: 2). The One who called you out of darkness is telling you and I to keep shining! I just love the Amplified version of Isaiah 60 verse 1, “Arise [from spiritual depression to a new life], shine [be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the Lord]; for your light has come, And the glory and brilliance of the Lord has risen upon you.” Regardless of the situation, just shine anyway; do not allow anyone or circumstance to dim your light. Shine because the glory of God is upon you! Shine because you are a follower of Jesus and He promises that whosoever follow Him will no longer walk in darkness (John 8:12). Shine because you have a hope and a future (Jer.29:11). Shine because everything is working out for your good (Rom.8:28). To shine your brightest you must be truly who you are meant to be, simply put – be yourself! You must also endeavour to

Moving from glory to glory is about taking charge and walking in dominion as was God’s original plan for man in Genesis 1:26-28. Hence in Psalm 8:5-6 the psalmist sheds more light on this when he said, “For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honour. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” God does not want His Children subdued by situations and circumstances therefore He gave them authority, to rule their world by demonstrating His power through them. To have dominion is to reign, exercise authority and be in charge! Your head is not meant to be bowed; you are not supposed to give up, or bargain with the opponent – the devil and his cohorts. Welcome to June 2019: Walking in Dominion! Listen carefully: I have given you authority [that you now possess] to tread on serpents and scorpions, and [the ability to exercise authority] over all the power of the enemy (Satan); and nothing will [in any way] harm you (Luke 10:19 AMP). Note the word YOU NOW POSSESS meaning that before you gave your life to Christ there is the tendency to be dominated but once in Christ, you have the ability to exercise authority over ALL the power of the enemy! I therefore pray that God will give you the boldness to stand your ground and walk in dominion. You are strengthened and empowered to remain victorious all the days of your life. No longer would you be restrained or held back but God will make all things to be under your feet from now on in Jesus name. You will reign in the face of opposition in Jesus name.
Walking in dominion goes beyond lip service; it is more about taking your stand as a child of God, it is being able to grasp what you can do in Christ because you are no longer operating based on your own limitations but you have come to the realisation that you truly have all that God promised you. You are what and who He says you are! Exo. 7:1 AMP says, Then the Lord said to Moses, “Now hear this: I make you as God to Pharaoh [to declare My will and purpose to him]; and your brother Aaron shall be your prophet. Like He did to Moses, God is saying I make (insert your name) God to his or her enemies. You have been called to have dominion. You will not live below God’s expectation in Jesus name. The one who will walk in dominion should be prepared to walk alone and be misunderstood by even Christians! The three Hebrew boys exercised dominion by refusing to be intimidated or coerced into submission to the will of their enemies (Dan.3:16-28); David exercised dominion when he did not give in to the rants of Goliath (1 Sam.17). Refuse to lose your dominion because it is your birth right which became yours the day you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour! If you haven’t given your life to Christ, it’s not too late to do so because no one can truly walk in dominion without Jesus. He is the source of dominion and I encourage you to accept Him today so as to have dominion!
To walk in dominion, you must walk in the spirit as the bible says when you walk in the spirit you will not fulfil the desires of the flesh (Gal.5:16) meaning that you will have total control over sin. The individual who will walk in dominion must be given to the word because therein lies the weapon you need to exercise authority; in Matt. 4:4-6 when the devil tried to bamboozle Jesus, our Lord’s reply was that, “IT IS WRITTEN” you cannot give what you don’t have, no wonder John 6:63 tells us …the word that I speak to you are spirit and life meaning they are no ordinary words. Show me a man who is walking in dominion and I will show you a man who is totally given to a life of prayer, a man who trusts God unreservedly and is obedient to His word; such a man can never be subdued, he can never be silenced! Have you neglected your prayer life? How obedient are you to the word? Remember partial obedience is no obedience; your obedience must be complete (2 Cor.10:6) only then can you exercise dominion. It is not surprising that our Lord Jesus Christ exercised dominion in all aspects; He was given to prayer and totally obedient to His father therefore He was given a name that represents dominion (Phil.2:8-9). I decree that henceforth you will begin to operate and walk in dominion and may the mercy of God keep you from falling in Jesus name. Shalom

Whenever the Lord wants to show forth His glory in the life of an individual, He makes such an individual a solution provider. There are more than a few men and women in the bible that we can refer to as those whom God showcased and moved from one level of glory to another; this He did by causing them to overcome various challenges before flaunting His glory in their lives. God moved them from glory to glory, He moved them to a triumphant end; they came, saw, conquered and attained God’s ordained level of glory! Welcome to May 2019: Glory to Glory! The Lord will make a way for you in every difficult situation. You will prevail over every Goliath that is charging against you in Jesus name. You are more than a conqueror.
1 Samuel 17 tells the story of David, the shepherd boy started his journey to destiny by killing bears and lions and later he became a giant slayer. He fought his way to glory, passed through many ordeal in the hands of his father, brothers, wife, mentor and the list goes on; attempts were made to prevent him from attaining God’s ordained purpose for his life; he was betrayed, scorned and sneered however despite all this, his destiny was fulfilled. His story is a story of hope that no matter what YOU WILL GET THERE! We should note however that in getting ‘there’ there is a process and unless you are willing to remain focused and undeterred, the devil will not rest. 1 Pet.5:8, “ be alert and of sober mind, Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour” note the word, ‘like’ meaning he is the imitation of the original therefore we are encouraged to be watchful so that we do not fall prey to the tactics of the devil. Jesus is the real deal... the Lion of the Tribe of Judah.
Champions are not made in the ring; they are made on the training ground. Moving from glory to glory is a process, Elijah did not just call down fire, he was prepared long before he surfaced to challenge the status quo. It is a spiritual blunder to assume no preparation is needed before the manifestation of glory hence a wise man said, ‘if you appear before your time, you will disappear’. The place of preparation is wilderness experience which can be lonely as we saw in the case of David. There was a time when he was unknown in the bush with no accolades or acknowledgement. This was the time he learned a lot of skills which later launched his destiny. Also Joseph started interpreting 'dreams' before appearing before Pharaoh ( Gen. 40:8-23, Gen 41:14-46). After his training in the wilderness David was able to progress to the phase of Manifestation(in public) where he was not only able to challenge Goliath but well able to subdue and kill him thereby obtaining the trophy. I pray for you today that no matter the level of opposition or resistance from any quarter, the Lord will bring you out victorious in Jesus name. You will not die on the training ground. You will not die before your glory manifests in Jesus name; whatever giant on your way will be destroyed before your eyes in Jesus name.
Finally beloved, this glorious month as King Saul told David, "Go, and the Lord be with thee." Every step you take will lead you to outstanding victory in Jesus name. Every attempt you make will yield for you earth shaking testimonies to the glory of God. Keep swimming in glory. You were born to win in Jesus name.

For God to visit an individual it means He has proposed to do something significant in that individual’s life and I am sure your life will never remain the same following His visitation. In Mark 8:22-25, Jesus and his disciples visited a place called Bethsaida and turned the life of an individual around. He visited and touched a blind man’s life and in the process left an indelible mark, one that could not be prevented; He touches to bring healing and undeniable transformation. Welcome to March! Your Month of Divine Touch! Mark 8:25 – After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up; and he was restored, and saw every man clearly. May the Lord touch you and restore you to His original intention. May God touch you this season to terminate reproach from your life and may you receive the touch of restoration and fulfilment this month in the mighty name of Jesus.
One would see reading through the verses in the bible passage above that this blind man needed help and it took the intervention of ‘some people’ as we see in verse 22. These are helpers of destiny and would be similar to those who helped the paralytic man in Luke 5:17-26 and Mark 2: 1-12. This season God will bring your way helpers of destiny that will not rest until you fulfil your destiny and nothing will hinder them from locating you in Jesus name. When they brought this man to Jesus, He took him by hand and led Him out of the city (Mark 8:23); I pray that God Himself will lead you out of every form of stagnation and unpleasant situation. You will no longer be unproductive but you will make accelerated progress from every standpoint in Jesus name. Wherever you are positioned that is hindering your glory, God will re-position you in Jesus name. After Jesus did the miracle, the man looked up (Mark 8:24); beloved where you look could determine where you will end in life, stop looking at the size of your problems, stop looking down on yourself because when you look down, you will only continue to wallow in self-pity, frustration and hopelessness. Stop looking at the boisterousness of the storm, that can only have an undesirable effect, remember Peter in Matt.14:30. When the blind man looked up, he saw for the first time. His situation changed no wonder we have been encouraged to look up to Jesus the author and the finisher of our faith (Heb. 12:2), the solution provider, the defeater of problems, the source of our power, our teacher. Let Him be your main focus.
The man began to see as soon as he looked up but that wasn’t the end of the story. Beloved sometimes we must learn to say it to God as it is, only then could there be perfection of our testimony. Be willing to open your mouth in prayer and tell God your problems. Do not hide your true situation from The One that can help you! If you have been touched before I pray you will receive the final touch this season – the touch of perfection; the touch that will take away reproach of whatever form or size. When Jesus touches you whatever is not enough becomes more than enough, every form of down trend is removed instead what you get is restoration, abundance, progress, joy and the likes. This season, the touch of God will locate you and there will be evidence of that touch in Jesus name. His touch will cause you to continue to swim in glory for the rest of your life in Jesus name. "Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.” Genesis 18:14 (NKJV) One of the many peculiarities of God is that He is a Promise Keeper! This means that whatever He says He will do; He will do! He is not a man who makes and breaks promises at will hence the bible tells us that God is not man that He should lie, nor the son of man...Num.23:19; whenever He promise to do something, it is settled...nothing can stop Him. Nothing can hinder him from achieving His purpose. Welcome to February: Your month of Unstoppable Visitation! God will come through for you. You will have a divine visitation that will cause your glory to manifest and you will continue to swim in glory for the rest of your life in Jesus name. The Promise Keeping God who spoke to Sarah in Genesis 18:14 and brought it to fulfilment in Genesis 21:1-2 will do it for you and yours in Jesus name. Genesis 21: 1-2(NKJV) says ‘And the Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did for Sarah as He had spoken. For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.' Humanly speaking it was too late for Sarah however when God came through for her, everyone laughed with her. Beloved you may be going through the motion and all you can feel or see is reproach, disgrace, shame etc, I am happy to tell you that you are next in line for divine visitation! No matter how long the issue might have lingered, God will visit you to turn the table in your favour in Jesus name. Be like Abraham who did not waver at the promise(s) of God but he believed Him wholeheartedly! “He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.”…..Rom.4:20-21. The bible makes us to understand in 2 Cor. 1:20 (NIV) “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God” … This scripture connotes that God’s promises are unstoppable, unbreakable and indissoluble. In John 11, Lazarus’s situation was apparently impossible having being dead for 4 days, Jesus however promised Martha in verse 23, “Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again”and of a truth that promise was not broken because even death could not hinder God’s promises. As per our anchor scripture, Gen I8:1, I therefore reiterate to you, beloved, yours will not be too hard for God. The Lord who dismantled Sarah’s barrenness with one visitation will visit you to this season to terminate fruitlessness in your life for good in Jesus name. The very same God who showed up to loosen Lazarus from the bondage of death will do the same for you in Jesus name. You will not die prematurely but you will live your life to the full in abundance and good health in Jesus name. God’s promises as found in His words are yours because God honours His word (Ps.138:2). He has promised to fill your life with His glory such that whatever you have achieved before will be nothing compared to what He is set to do. He will fill your body with His glory such that sickness can no longer hide there. .and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts……..‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts...Haggai 2:7-9. He will visit you this season to fulfil all His promises to you in Jesus name. Not one of all the LORD's good promises to Israel failed; every one was fulfilled. Jos. 21:45. Shalom. Lekan Oyewande |
