"Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.” Genesis 18:14 (NKJV)

One of the many peculiarities of God is that He is a Promise Keeper! This means that whatever He says He will do; He will do! He is not a man who makes and breaks promises at will hence the bible tells us that God is not man that He should lie, nor the son of man...Num.23:19; whenever He promise to do something, it is settled...nothing can stop Him. Nothing can hinder him from achieving His purpose. Welcome to February: Your month of Unstoppable Visitation! God will come through for you. You will have a divine visitation that will cause your glory to manifest and you will continue to swim in glory for the rest of your life in Jesus name. The Promise Keeping God who spoke to Sarah in Genesis 18:14 and brought it to fulfilment in Genesis 21:1-2 will do it for you and yours in Jesus name.

Genesis 21: 1-2(NKJV) says ‘And the Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did for Sarah as He had spoken. For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.' Humanly speaking it was too late for Sarah however when God came through for her, everyone laughed with her. Beloved you may be going through the motion and all you can feel or see is reproach, disgrace, shame etc, I am happy to tell you that you are next in line for divine visitation! No matter how long the issue might have lingered, God will visit you to turn the table in your favour in Jesus name. Be like Abraham who did not waver at the promise(s) of God but he believed Him wholeheartedly! “He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.”…..Rom.4:20-21.

The bible makes us to understand in 2 Cor. 1:20 (NIV) “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God” … This scripture connotes that God’s promises are unstoppable, unbreakable and indissoluble. In John 11, Lazarus’s situation was apparently impossible having being dead for 4 days, Jesus however promised Martha in verse 23, “Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again”and of a truth that promise was not broken because even death could not hinder God’s promises. As per our anchor scripture, Gen I8:1, I therefore reiterate to you, beloved, yours will not be too hard for God. The Lord who dismantled Sarah’s barrenness with one visitation will visit you to this season to terminate fruitlessness in your life for good in Jesus name. The very same God who showed up to loosen Lazarus from the bondage of death will do the same for you in Jesus name. You will not die prematurely but you will live your life to the full in abundance and good health in Jesus name.  God’s promises as found in His words are yours because God honours His word (Ps.138:2). He has promised to fill your life with His glory such that whatever you have achieved before will be nothing compared to what He is set to do. He will fill your body with His glory such that sickness can no longer hide there. .and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts……..‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts...Haggai 2:7-9. He will visit you this season to fulfil all His promises to you in Jesus name. Not one of all the LORD's good promises to Israel failed; every one was fulfilled. Jos. 21:45. Shalom.

You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’(2 Chron.20:17NKJV) ……with this promise from the Lord, the nations who rose against Judah and Jerusalem turned against one another until they completely destroyed themselves.  It is my pleasure to welcome you to the last month in 2018 and I stand to affirm the above scripture that, “you will not need to fight any more battles”, for God will take up all your  battles in Jesus name.  Victory at times can come at a cost for instance Jephtah’s victory cost him the life of his only daughter (Judges 11); Samson’s came at the       expense of his two eyes (Judges 16:28) however when we let God take up the reins of our affair including our battles then you are sure of a lasting victory such that nothing can be added to it and nothing can be removed from it.  God’s victory is a complete victory that comes with security.  Welcome to DECEMBER 2018! VICTORY & SAFETY! May the good Lord keep you safe and sound and give you victory over all the battles of your life.  As the year gradually draws to a close, God will release His blessings upon your family and exempt you and yours from all evil.  As you praise His Holy name, God will put any consortium against your destiny to flight in Jesus name.

In 2 Chron. 20 we see the potency of praise.  Jehoshaphat got a report that some nations had gathered themselves together against him; there was no way or means of escape.  He could not even attempt to fight them     because his own army had been outnumbered and the situation was daunting however his response was epic.  Jehoshaphat did what God expects us to do when       confronted with trials.  The bible recorded that Jehoshaphat turned to God and proclaimed a fast then he got the whole nation involved.  Whenever there is a problem or a threat against your destiny, know that your response is crucial.  Jehoshaphat spoke to the Lord reminding God of

Who He is, what He has done in the past and what He is capable of doing.  This is an act of worship! When the devil come at you, let him know what your God is      capable of doing!  Finally and perhaps this is the straw that broke the Carmel’s back, Jehoshaphat appointed singers to go ahead of the army (2 Chron.20:21).  What he did here was profound; you see God lives in the praises of His people (Ps. 22:3) so when praise went ahead God had no choice but to come down in His glory and when He appeared, confusion became the lot of the enemies and they turned on each other   (2 Chron. 20:23).

Once in a while in the journey of life, one is bound to encounter opposition, confrontation, challenges or     situations contrary to one’s expectation however none of these should take His praise out of your mouth      because your victory is in your praise.  When you praise God like Jehoshaphat and his people did, He will make you indestructible and unsinkable.  No matter the gang up, God is equal to the task and able to fight both known and unknown enemies. You will not miss out on your victory in Jesus name.  The Lord of Hosts will make the end of this year more glorious than the       beginning.  You will not be a casualty this year.  Sorrow will not locate your abode.  The Lord will frustrate the plans of the enemies concerning your destiny in Jesus name.  As you praise God this month and beyond the Lord who has never lost a battle or a war will fight for you and make you a wonder unto many in Jesus name.  Never let His praise depart from your mouth.  Never lose your praise.  There is GLORY AHEAD!!!

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider that I have made it my own yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the [heavenly] prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Phil. 3:13-14 AMP

Last month, God admonished us to “Be Strong” and I am sure we are already putting on the whole armour and are following the orders of our Commander in Chief. Regardless of the feat we may have achieved for Him in the past, it will not be wise for us to rely on past achievements and old glory hence this month God is telling us to progress forward and upward. Welcome to November 2018FORWARD AND UPWARD. Deut. 1:6-7 says, ‘The Lord our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount. Turn you, and take your journey, and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates.’

What this means is that regardless of past exploits and triumphs, there is room for improvement; things can only get better as we see in our slogan, “where God is changing lives for the better”. I pray that from now on, your movement will be progressive, forward and upward. You will have results to show for all your efforts; you will not stumble in the race of life. Your harvest will be preserved from wasters and the Lord will increase you on every side. I fasten God’s word upon your life according to Lev. 26:10(AMP) that, “You will eat the old supply of [abundant] produce, and clear out the old [to make room] for the new” So shall it be in Jesus name.

A forward and upward movement is explicitly depicted Lev. 26:4-13 where God pronounced several blessings on His children, however in His usual manner, He put a clause as we see from Lev. 26:1-3 where He gave us choices – do not toy with idols, diligently obey God then comes the promises, beloved obeying God is a choice, more so serving Him. A man or woman destined for forward and upward movement does not put his or her hand on the plough and look back; he or she is totally sold out to God and His ways. No wonder Joshua said expressly in Joshua 24:15... Choose this day whom ye will serve......but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Serving God requires a lot of focus so does forward and upward movement. It is personal therefore you must be intentional in your pursuit of God. There will be distractions every step of the way but you must make conscious effort to remain immoveable in your quest. Refuse the noise of detractors and lay all aside to do the bidding of God because it is practically impossible to be moving forward and be looking back at the same time; it’s not just feasible. No wonder Paul the Apostle made the statement in our anchor scripture, Phil. 3:13-14. He was simply saying I refuse to be cocky; I refuse to relent in my bid to get to my destination. He was blatantly refusing to allow his exploits to get to his head. This is perhaps one of the secrets of the general overseer of this mission, Pastor E.A. Adeboye. Many Christians today are a bit laid back, complacent perhaps as there comes a time when we feel where we are is the height of our achievements whereas God is saying, I haven’t even started with you yet, reach forward, press harder, your best is yet to come! Refuse to live in the past or allow the past to determine your future. Beloved I pray that every spirit of complacency will be booted out of our lives in Jesus name. We will not be comfortable until we achieve God’s purpose for our lives in Jesus name. When you purpose to move forward and upward, the Lord will make a way for you (Exo.14:15). Keep pressing. Shalom.

One of the insignias of a triumphant Christian is the ability to remain resilient in the face of intense and ferocious opposition. There is no gainsaying that the battles of life are real even moreso for the children of God therefore to make it and end well we must be fortified spiritually; spiritually because the spiritual controls the physical and by (physical) strength shall no man prevail. In Ephesians 6:10(NIV), the bible encourages us with these words, ‘Finally be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power”. The Message version puts it this way, “And that about wraps it up. God is strong, and he wants you strongWelcome to the month of double grace: October 2018: BE STRONG! Henceforth the unlimited power of God will find expression in every area of your life. Wherever you are weak, the Lord will strengthen you and His grace will be sufficient for you in Jesus name.

Being strong is not a function of one’s brawn but the aptitude to remain unflustered while relying on God to do what He does best in the midst of the hassles of life. In 1 Samuel 17 we see a good example God’s mighty power; it is the classical story of David and Goliath. While David focused on God as the source of his strength, Goliath did on his physical ability which by no means was small rather daunting as described in 1 Samuel 17:4-7. In spite of Goliath’s physique, David remained level-headed so much so that for every threat that came from Goliath, David matched and tripled it with the reassurance of God’s supremacy. David knew he was not in the fight alone; he had the backup of the hosts of heaven. David knew his enemy but knows his God even more and having compared the two, he knew who has the final say! The points David highlighted were based on trust having had a relationship with God as well as his knowledge of what God can do; David did not look at his own abilities at all, he kept God in the picture the whole time, making references to Him no wonder he was victorious, his strength was in God’s power!. Zechariah 4:6 (NIV) astutely stated, “so he said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty.”

To be spiritually strong we must learn a thing or two from the young man, David. There were so many attributes that endeared David to God, one of which was David’s doggedness, you must be resolute enough to know what you stand for and be willing to defend and uphold it. You must know God and have a relationship with him perhaps this was one of David’s best character yet, the bible says for you to be strong and do exploit you must know your God (Dan.11:32 paraphrased). David knew His God. Also the Amplified version of our anchor scripture says ‘In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might.’ Do not give in to the rants of the devil. You are tougher than you think! Your strength is not that which can be seen by the physical eye; it is bestowed on you through the help of the Holy Spirit. Tough times do not last, tough people do! Big up, power up and be strong. God has got your back! You are too hot for the devil to handle! You are blessed! You are strong! You are unstoppable in Jesus name. Shalom

There is no way you can have enduring dominion and not enjoy divine satisfaction. God’s numerous  blessings     ultimately ensure satisfaction because His blessings are all encompassing hence the bible tells us that, “the blessings of the Lord it maketh rich and does not add sorrow" (Prov.10:22). With His blessings comes satisfaction because no area of your life is left untouched. Welcome to September 2018: DIVINE SATISFACTION! Money cannot bring satisfaction neither will a rise to the upper echelon of one’s career or the society bring true satisfaction. It is therefore  erroneous to think that any of these things will bring satisfaction. The only source of true satisfaction is God hence our anchor scripture tells us, “The LORD will answer and say to His people, "Behold, I will send you grain and new wine and oil, And you will be satisfied by them; I will no longer make you a reproach among the nation” Joel 2:19 NKJV. I therefore declare that God will take away anything that constitutes reproach in your life in Jesus name. Any area where you have been subjected to mockery will suddenly turn to your area of glory and honour and you shall be celebrated in Jesus name.

Without God we can never be truly satisfied because the things we possess and our achievements can only bring  momentary satisfaction but with divine satisfaction comes  various other benefits. That is why the bible tells us of   diverse promises of God that we will enjoy when God satisfies us. With divine satisfaction comes the covenant of life; Psalm 91: 16 tells us that the Lord will satisfy you with long life and show you His salvation. I pray that you will not die prematurely in Jesus name.  The Almighty God will continue to show you His salvation all the days of your life in  Jesus name.  We also see the covenant of  protection in Prov.19:23  where we were told, “the fear of the LORD leads to life, so that one may sleep satisfied, untouched by evil”. From now no evil will come near  your  dwelling;  I pray that God will hide you and yours under His wings in Jesus name.  What about the covenant of  provision, Psalm 103:5 makes us realise that God will satisfy you with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. I pray that as God satisfies you, He will not withhold any good thing from you either spiritually or physically in Jesus name.

The ultimate example of divine satisfaction would be the testimony of Abraham as attested in Gen. 24:1(TLB), Abraham was now a very old man, and God blessed him in every way. This was further corroborated by Abraham’s servant in verse 34 of the same chapter. May you enjoy divine satisfaction even in your old age in Jesus name. One thing however that is noteworthy is the fact that God is a God of order and as much as He loves to satisfy us with His goodness, He attaches certain conditions that we must fulfil and live by in order to continue to experience divine satisfaction, Matt.5:6 (AMP) tells that “Blessed [joyful, nourished by God’s goodness] are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness [those who actively seek right standing with God], for they will be [completely] satisfied". Beloved  ensure that no matter what you have right standing with GOD above all other things and He will definitely ensure you are completely satisfied. Like Abraham, fear God and do His will; give yourself wholeheartedly to Him, in service and in fellowship and do not withhold anything from Him. Herein lies the secret of divine satisfaction! I pray that God will satisfy you early with His mercy so that you will rejoice and be glad all your days in Jesus name (Ps. 90:14). Your satisfaction shall no longer be delayed in Jesus name. Shalom.

Genesis 1:26 says "Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” God with this statement put man in charge and gave him the authority to dominate his world therefore no element of creation is meant to have control over man especially one who is spirit filled. The day you accepted Jesus into your life, you entered into a new level of authority. Welcome to August 2018: your month of Enduring Dominion. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, (Psalms 8:6). All things must answer to you and may you have complete and unquestionable authority over every issue of life this month and beyond in Jesus name. You are undefeatable in Jesus name!

According to the dictionary, dominion means controlling power or influence over others, the right to govern or rule or determine; it also means to have the edge, advantage or the upper hand therefore what it means to have dominion is to have the right to determine the outcome of things; you were created according to God’s original intention to have dominion in all ramification be it air, land, or sea and all creatures therein. God putting everything under your feet means He has given you unquestionable authority therefore no circumstance is meant to be beyond your control rather they are meant to answer to you! 1 John 5:4...'whatever is born of God overcometh the world' and since Jesus is the Lion of the tribe of Judah....you as a believer have the nature of a lion! To have dominion as mentioned above is to have the upper hand, to have the edge.  Lions are born to exercise dominion in the jungle that probably explains the reason why the devil parades itself like a roaring lion. Don’t worry, the least the devil can do is to act 'like' as he is just an imitation of the original… The lion of the tribe of Judah!!!!Beloved you must realise that being a child of God gives you the upper hand; nothing should overwhelm you. As a child of the Lion of the tribe of Judah, you were created to take charge at all times. You hardly ever see a lion walking about with it's head bowed, lions don’t bow to anyone rather they enter the scene and everything bow to them!  May you continue to operate and walk in dominion for the rest of your life in Jesus name.

In order to make sure you have enduring dominion, the one that stands the test of time; you must know what the word of God says concerning you only then can you know your rights and privileges as a child of God.  It is this knowledge that will give you the boldness to take charge in prevailing situations. From the viewpoint of a believer failure to be equipped with information can prove fatal as it can lead to unnecessary suffering and sorrow (Dan.11:32).  Surround yourself with believers who will challenge your faith, remember the story of the eagle who didn’t know it was created to fly having being raised among chickens until it came in contact with another eagle only then did it realise it was created not only to fly but to soar! (Prov.13:20). Also spend time talking to God and let Him talk back to you in the place of prayer. Don’t forget to utilise the name of Jesus which is also a symbol of your dominion as a Christian, for the bible tells us that at the mention of the name of Jesus everything becomes answerable to you. Whatever, whoever or wherever they may be, you are the one in charge. “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Phil.2:10-11). May you continue to have dominion over all things in Jesus name!

TAKE CHARGE

“Remember, the fire must be kept burning on the altar at all times. It must never go out.” Leviticus 6:13 (NLT)

Last month we were able to establish the fact that God is never late; He shows up just in time to do the impossible.  This is because He is in charge of all things and nothing takes Him by surprise.   It might interest you to know that as His heir, He has given you dominion … to take charge! Welcome to July 2018: TAKE CHARGE! May the zeal of the house of the Lord consume you and may the fire on your altar perpetually burn.  Nothing will cause you to lose your fire and you will not disobey God to the point of losing your place and position of dominion in Jesus name.

One of the things required of us after we have surrendered our hearts to God is to remain continuously hot for Him no wonder He said He has no time for lukewarmness, either you are hot for Him or remain on the other side by being cold.  There are no in-betweens. Hence He gave Aaron and the priests this specific instruction…., “the fire must be kept burning on the altar at all times, It must never go out.” Loss of the fire is tantamount to loss of authority and you cannot afford to lose your right!

An area where most Christians lack understanding is that because God has given you dominion He will let you fold your hands and do everything for you.  You have been mandated to take charge of affairs especially in areas where change is sought.   It may be in physical circumstances like in Judges 3:1-4 when the Israelites were at war with certain nations, God did not wipe off those nations by Himself but He left them in their land to test their determination to see if they would actually follow through to their promise.  The Israelite sworn and pledged their allegiance to God several times...that they will not serve other gods...but alas they always reneged on their promises to God by fraternising with those nations whom God has warned them not to associate with. For most of us it may be spiritual war we are fighting….essentially against the flesh. There are things God expects you to do instead of complaining, murmuring and waiting on Him to do them for you.  I am sure that is why God blessed man and commanded him to replenish the earth and have dominion (take charge) as we see in Gen.1:28.  God not only gave man dominion He also gave man responsibility from the start…to keep the garden (Gen.2:15), to name all the animals (Gen.2:19).

As much as God told man to take charge, He also test us from time to time to see if we are actually determined to please Him.  He tested Moses’ faith in Exo.14:15-16 when He told Moses to stop praying rather to stretch forth the rod in his hand.  He tested King Saul’s obedience when He commanded him to utterly destroy the Amalekites in 1 Sam. 15:1-3. Jesus also gave delegated authority to His disciples as we see in John 14:12, Matt.10:1 and Luke 10:19.  Some things are allowed by God to remain in your ‘land’ so as to wake you up to your responsibility.  All you need to execute God’s will and purpose is made available for you in Christ Jesus…Eph. 3:20 therefore let the word of God (Jesus) dwell richly in you and let the burning fire for God guide the choices you make in life every day.

TIMELY INTERVENTION

God has a way of showing up when you least expect; all He is looking for is the state of your hearts and your faith in Him.  Once He sees that you have made Him your All, He will give you His very best, not to show off but to prove His almightiness and His control over times and seasons.  Welcome to JUNE 2018 – TIMELY INTERVENTION!  “Once I was young, and now I am old. Yet I have never seen the godly abandoned or their children begging for bread.” Psalms 37:25 NLT.  The timely God will not abandon you.  You will not lose face in the midst of your peers.  Whatever is meant to bring you shame will announce God’s power in your life and you shall testify to God’s goodness and mercy in Jesus name.

When Peter left all he had to follow Jesus little did he know that Jesus was ALL he ever needed.  Jesus is all you need too because it is a known fact that Jesus never leaves His own, no matter what!  In Matthew 17:24-27, when a need was to be met with no resources, Jesus intervened in an unusual manner. Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast a hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee Matthew 17:27 (KJV). Beloved Jesus has the ability to provide whatever you need and He will do so for you in Jesus name. Note that Jesus made provision not only for Himself but also for Peter to show that He truly cares for our wellbeing! He is not just raising disciples but He thinks of you all the time and is very much interested in your case!

Whatever you are going through today will impact your testimony and His kingdom; what is that situation that people are inquiring about and you don’t have ready answers for? Why don’t you tell it to Jesus and watch Him do the impossible, beloved rest & be assured that Jesus’s got you! Learn to cast your burdens on Him because He cares for you, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep” John 10:11 (KJV). He will certainly come along side you as you acknowledge Him, to carry your burden, ease your pain and dispel your fears. Despite the fact that each day has its own share of challenges you can be certain and confident that God will not leave you to face it all by yourself; each day has been insured for us in God. “It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” Lam.3:22-23 KJV.  Be reminded that as you truly follow the Lord, there is no need or lack in your life that HE will not take care of. According to Ps. 68:19 - “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. You are guaranteed daily intervention and supply from God

He will not only intervene for you but for your household, when Peter’s mother in law had fever, Jesus intervened because of Peter’s connection to Jesus, Peter had a relationship with Jesus. “Jesus left the synagogue and went to Simon’s house. Simon’s mother-in-law was very sick. She had a high fever. They asked Jesus to do something to help her.  He stood very close to her and ordered the sickness to go away. The sickness left her, and she got up and began serving them.” Luke 4:38-40. Your connection to Jesus will not only be beneficial to you but to your household, family members and acquaintances in Jesus name!

As you journey into this new month, Receive grace to surrender  to God all that seems impossible and watch in amazement the goodness of the Lord as He brings to you help, deliverance and complete salvation. You shall not be abandoned in Jesus name. Shalom.

KEEP THE FAITH

Apostle Paul made an insightful statement in 2 Timothy 4:7 when he said, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith”  This infers that all through various circumstances, he maintained his cool and never lost focus of where he was going or the God he was serving.  Surprisingly the phrase, ‘keep the faith’ in Merriam-Webster dictionary means: to continue to believe in, trust, or support someone or something when it is difficult to do so. Another meaning is to continue in the committed pursuit of some idea or goal that is worthy but difficult to attain or achieve.  This is what God is calling us to do this fifth month of 2018 to KEEP THE FAITH! Regardless of the situation God is calling on you to hold the fort! Victory is nigh! Our anchor scripture for this month Psalm 22:24 gives us a very concrete reason why quitting should not be an alternative, “For he has not despised or scorned the suffering of the afflicted one; he has not hidden his face from him but has listened to his cry for help” (Ps. 22:24).

Note that David did not write this sentence in a future tense like ‘God will not’ or  ‘God shall not’ but he wrote it in past participle “He has not …..” meaning that IT IS DONE! God has not ignored your prayers.  Your affliction has not put Him off, He has not shunned you because of your problems neither has he hidden his face from you BUT He has listened to your cry for help.  It is also worthy of note to mention that David ended this chapter with absolute confidence in God’s ability in Psalm 22:31 when he wrote, “He has done it!” Don’t allow your emotions to get the better of you.  God is not ignorant of your situation. He keeps record and is well informed of everything that pertains to you according to Psalm 56:8. You are not forgotten, you are not forsaken therefore beloved cheer up because Help is on the way!

All God requires of you is to keep the faith, don’t allow challenges, problems, and trials to shake your faith.  Job worshipped God in the midst of his misfortunes (Job 1:20); Worship Him even when you don’t understand what He is doing.  Job was a man who understood affliction, he lost all he had yet he opted to keep the faith when he made this statement in Job 14:14, “If a man dies, shall he live again? All the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change comes.” He was merely saying that he was prepared to keep his faith till God shows up and we do know that God never failed Job for in Job 42:10, “…..the LORD restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before and also Job 42:12, “The LORD blessed the latter part of Job's life more than the former part”…..God will not allow you to be put to shame for His name’s sake! You have called on His name and have put your trust in Him, He will not disappoint you.  If in doubt, take a look once again at the account of all the names mentioned in Hebrew 11 and you will find that each kept their faith intact till the very end even those who didn’t have a great start.  Their end justified the means. Your background doesn’t mean your back has to be on the ground. Don’t allow where you are, who you are or where you are from to dictate the plan and purpose of God for your life.  God has the final say because He is the author and the finisher of your faith!

Honestly speaking it may not be easy to keep the faith as a matter of fact it can be risky but God always appear anyway. Shedrach, Meshach and Abednego defied the king’s order and risked their lives but God showed up (Daniel 3:24-26).  HE WILL SHOW UP FOR YOU in Jesus name!  Learn to increase your faith based on the written promises of God and the truth of God’s word will set you free.  Believe God that He is able to do what He says He will do (Heb.11:6) and as you keep the faith, your faith in God will keep you, deliver you and give you victory.  Don’t give up on God because He won’t give up on you!

Welcome to February 2018: Undisputable Triumph…..Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place (2 Cor. 2:14). Note the scripture used the word ‘always’. It means your triumph is not once off but every time. Oxford dictionary defines triumph in a triple dimension as “a great victory or achievement”, “the state of being victorious or successful”, “joy or satisfaction resulting from a success or victory.” May you always triumph over every trial no matter the shape of the trial, its size, when it occurs or how it happens; May you always come out victorious in Jesus name. One compelling thing about the above scripture is that your triumph is not by your power, it says ‘God who always leads us in triumph in Christ.’ This should gladden every believer’s heart because it is an assurance of triumph based on our connection to Christ. God did not promise a life void of trials and tempest but that of a sure triumph over every trial. John 16:33 also validates this point when Jesus said, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Let us examine the ingredients needed to achieve a life of undisputable triumph; as mentioned above our association with Christ is vital but beyond this we must remain in Him, continuously walking and abiding in Him. When we abide in Christ who is the Champion of champions, the Conqueror of the universe and He abides in us just as we find in John 15:4, then our triumph is guaranteed. Another thing essential to undisputable triumph is refusing to be satisfied with an average life; strive to get better on daily basis. Jesus our perfect example was not satisfied with an average life, He did not take His assignment for granted nor was He laid back (John 9:4). He didn’t waste time because He knew He was a man on assignment and like everyone of us, He had a timeframe (John 7:33, 12:35).

You must also be willing to pay the price. For everything that is worthwhile in life, there is a price tag and the price you are willing to pay determines the quality of the prize you get. Jesus paid the price and eventually got the prize(s). Heb.12:2 says, “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” There may be opposition or criticism, as matter of fact, any time you want to make progress, there is a resistance. Keep moving forward fixing your eyes on the prize and you will be triumphant. Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him….Heb. 10:38. Refuse to be distracted or silenced by the voices of opposition and criticism. Life is a race and there is no trophy for quitters… quitters never win, winners never quit. In addition, learn to stay in your lane, remain focused and true to your calling; remember that there is a corresponding audience to every gift so there is absolutely no need to envy, compare or imitate anybody. That is how to ensure a life of undisputable triumph!

According to 2 Cor. 4:8-10, things may sometimes not go as planned, there may be some things happening that you didn’t bargain for but never forget that as long as Christ is in charge of your life, He will lead you to triumph; when you gave your life to Him, He took control and handed over to you undisputable triumph. You are born again to become a winner and you will never lose; U.N.D.I.S.P.U.T.A.B.L.E. T.R.I.U.M.P.H. IS YOUR PORTION in Jesus name. Shalom.
